It was built between 1945 and 1948 by returnees of the two world wars as well as by industrious community citizens of Innerschwand under the energetic cooperation of the priest, Karl Krawinkler. The paintings are by Josef Mayrhuber. On the dome there are representations of St. Wolfgang, Leonhard, Notburga and Florian, in between Evangelist symbols. To this day, regular trade fairs are regularly held in the branch church for the local population.
