Mrs. Grubinger went with a niece into the forest on that winter's day to replenish the wood supplies. The men were at war, so women had to take care of this work. Boys felled the trees. The women began to be relieved. When the two were warned by the call "tree falls", the niece was able to escape from the danger area. Mrs. Grubinger was still trying to take the train saw and was hit by the tree. Her nephew later had the Marterl built. The picture is painted on a metal sheet. It was renewed in 1984 and re-covered on 30. 12. 2004. August Meindl was also at work here. Forest workers and foresters call the area in which the misfortune happened today the place of the "tailor's mother".
