In diesem Bereich wurde eine große Schotterdeponie angelegt. Erst 1990/91 ließ die Gemeinde Innerschwand unter Bürgermeister Johann Draschwandtner die neue Kapelle errichten. Sie ist dem hl. Christophorus geweiht. Die Inschrift drückt dies aus: „Hl. Christophorus, schütze alle, die unterwegs sind!“ Die große Statue stammt von Peter Strobl (Schnitzer) aus Innerschwand. Die beiden kleinen Figuren sind noch von der alten Kapelle. In einer festlichen Feier wurde die Kapelle am 25. Mai 1991 von Pfarrer Edlinger gesegnet.1) Helga and Josef Wildroither Felber looked after the Chapel.
