Information for groups visiting Advent in Mondsee

The Advent in Mondsee is easy accessible via the highway #1 exit Mondsee.

Every year more and more groups and coach operators discover Mondsee as a destination for their guests to experience a traditional advent market. The lovely and illuminated scenery in front of the Mondsee cathedral and in the ancient abbey, different traditional performances, concerts and exhibitors focusing on real handicraft works provide a real christmas feeling.

Your advantages:

  • situated directly at the highway #1, exit Mondsee
  • coach terminal with public toilets - PLEASE NOTICE: since spring 2019 there is a fee for coaches (€ 20,- per bus per day)
  • the coach terminal is only 500 m away from the centre where the advent market takes place
  • Free WiFi at the advent market and at the bus terminal
  • the visit of the advent market can be combined with a ship cruise on lake Mondsee, a concert, etc. - feel free to ask our team to learn more.
  • distances: Munich 150km, Vienna 250km, Salzburg 25km
  • Mondsee is a well known starting point for christmas market tours around the Salzkammergut area (Wolfgangsee, Bad Ischl) and Salzburg (old town, Hellbrunn)
