The Love-Lock-Gate in Mondsee
The area of Mondsee-Irrsee is not only favoured by families and nature lovers - many couples in love spend romantic hours at the lakes Mondsee and Irrsee. Furthermore, approx. 250 bridal pairs get married in Mondsee every year.

Since summer 2014 every couple - regardless of whether beeing newly in love or married - has the possibility to show their love symbolic. At the love-lock-gate in the "Almeida park" at the lakeshore Mondsee couples can fix a love lock and throw the key into the lake, to seal their love for ever!
