Fishing at lake Irrsee
Since 1959 the whole Irrsee is protected by nature conservation laws. Please bear in mind that areas signed as protected must not be entered.
What do you need for fishing?
fishing permission, fishing licence, catch list
Alive lure fish ist not allowed.
Fish must have a minimum lenght of:
- pike: 60 cm
- trout: 75 cm
- whitefish: 40 cm
- carp: 40 cm
- zander: 50 cm
Whitefish must not be removed during winter season.
Owners of an all year fishing permission are allowed to use electric motors on their boats.
Prices and reductions (members, teenagers, etc.): SAB fees
A fishing permission is necessary. Children under the age of 12 years are allowed to fish without permission but must be accompanied by a grown-up with valid fishing permission.
