Mondsee chocolate biscuit recipe

The chocolate moons are a chocolatey temptation that no one is guaranteed to be able to resist!

Ingredients:

15 dag sugar
15 dag butter
4 egg yolks
4 clear egg whites
10 dag soft chocolate
15 dag flour
1 pinch of baking powder

Beat the sugar, butter and egg yolks until fluffy, then carefully fold in the soft chocolate. Finally, carefully fold in the beaten egg whites, sifted flour and baking powder, spread onto a baking tray and bake at 170°C in the oven. Cut into small slices or cut out moons while still warm. Brush with icing. Glaze: Mix icing sugar with rum.
