The museum for "Transport and Ischlerbahnmuseum Mondsee" is open again.
The ancient narrow gauge railway connected the capital of Salzburg and Bad Ischl until 1957. A traditional heating parlor hosts today´s Museum.
Exhibits on display comprise not only old photographs and maps but also locomotives, carriages and wagons rich in history. Enjoy traveling back in time!
Opening times 2021 new:
From May 1st, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Group tours are also possible outside the opening times by prior arrangement.

Coming from the motorway exit Mondsee, turn right, go to the entrance of South Lake Mondsee. You can park either at the first parking lot or take the first driveway to the right. There you will also have parking. The museum is located close to both parking lots, behind the Alps Mondsee.
Last stop: post office Mondsee.
