The cantry St. Michael is a club, which promotes the church music.
It consists of the choir and the ensemble.

The choir cultivates the church music in the liturgy, which is the result of the yearly process. It organizes small and large masses, sings on special festivals and enriches weddings and funerals by means of musical contributions. It is an integral part of the church life of the Basilica Mondsee.

The ensemble is a colorful group of enthusiastic singers and singers. They sing literature from Palestrina and Monteverdi, Bach, Haydn and Mozart, to the modern age in concerts and in the liturgy in the Basilica Mondsee. The ensemble is also happy to organize weddings and other festivals.
