The voluntary fire brigade Oberhofen is one of 11 fire brigades at the MondSeeLand in the Salzkammergut.
The Oberhofen Volunteer Fire Brigade is a public corporation, and joining and leaving is of course voluntary.
The Oberhoffen fire brigade meets every Monday from 7.00 pm or 7.30 pm, after the third "taster" the fire brigade pass is filled out.
Regular events include the fire brigade morning pint on the last Sunday in July and the stand at the Oberhofen village festival on the second Sunday in August.
