17th Oberwang St. Martin’s Festival on the “Lebensroas” Themed Trail
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, culinary delights, crafts, and tradition will once again take center stage in Oberwang. Starting at 10 a.m., visitors can enjoy regional delicacies, a craft market, children’s activities, and musical performances at the “Zum fidelen Bauern” inn and along the themed trail.

The “Lebensroas” association is once again hosting its 17th Martinifest. There will be plenty of culinary delights on offer once again: from game specialties and fresh Schmarrn at the Holzknechthütte to delicacies from the barbecue world champion, as well as fish dishes, farmer’s doughnuts, Pofesen, and fine schnapps—there’s something for every taste. The popular craft market will take place, as usual, in the weather-protected Stockhalle. Here, regional artisans will showcase their skills and offer their handmade products. At the shooting range, those with a steady aim can try their luck, while children can look forward to pony rides. The festival officially opens at 12 noon—accompanied by the Prangerschützen and with musical entertainment at the Brechlbad, where traditional flax processing will also be demonstrated. Admission is free, and the festivities go on rain or shine. The “Lebensroas” looks forward to welcoming many visitors, whose presence helps keep the connection to tradition, craftsmanship, and local cuisine alive in the Mondseeland region.
