The MondSeeLand Farm Museum was built as an interpretation of a modern agricultural outbuilding and serves as an informative entrance to the Mondseer Rauchhaus open-air museum with its outbuildings and outdoor area.
It's a permanent exhibition on the first ground and offers his visitors a trip through the farmers work in the four seasons.There are many pictures and texts with original machines. The subject area is for example the work in the wood and the agriculture 6000 years ago.
There are also events and workshops from the farmers life. You can also taste the typical Austrian "Krapfen" or a hard liquor.

Group tours also possible outside opening hours by prior arrangement.

Exit Westautobahn towards Mondsee Zentrum, at the Mondsee roundabout take the third exit towards Zentrum, drive down the mountain and keep to the right. After approx. 400 m turn left (at Gasthof Grüner Baum) in the direction of Mondseeberg and take the second street on the right (before the motorway underpass). At the end of Hilfbergstraße there is the parking lot for the farmer's museum.

The museum is open from May 1st to October 26th, Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00.
