Biscuit recipe for Mondsee honey biscuits
Ingredients
40 dag flour
20 dag icing sugar
20 dag honey (solid)
2 pinches baking soda
2 eggs
2-3 teaspoons cinnamon
Knead all the ingredients into a firm dough. If the dough is too runny, add a little more flour. Roll out thinly, cut out any desired motifs and bake at 180°C in a light oven.
If the biscuits remain hard in the tin, they will soften when exposed to air.
If necessary, add half an apple to the tin to soften the biscuits.
