Does the Lake Festival take place if it rains?

Yes, the Lake Festival “Seefest Mondsee” takes place in any weather.

Are umbrellas allowed at the lake festival?

On Friday and Saturday the authorities have forbidden us to take umbrellas for safety reasons, but they are permitted on Sunday.

Is admission free for children/young people?

Children are free up to the age of 14, i.e. from the age of 14, children also have to pay admission. The age limit is based on the Upper Austrian Youth Protection Act, which allows admission to public events from the age of 14 (14th birthday) until midnight without a supervisor.

When do the fireworks display take place?

The fireworks are the finale of the Seefest Mondsee and take place on Sunday at the end of the Seebuchtshow (approx. 21:45). The exact time depends on the weather, among other things.
