The volunteer fire Brigade in Innerschwand was founded in 1904.

The current firefighter house was blessed in 1992. The drawing was done by Franz Bucar. The flag of the volunteer fire Brigade Innerschwand is being kept in the church by Loibichl and is brought out when celebrations take place.
