6 groups with 150 Perchten are running through the centre and are showing their handmade wooden masks

As every year the Perchtenlauf is one of the highlights in the event. The gymnasium and sports club Mondsee has launched it more than 20 years ago and thus replaced the Krampusse on 5 December.
6 Fit from the MondSeeLand and the surrounding area with a total of about 150 Perchten gather in the local center and show their mostly hand-carved Perchtenmasken.
With spectacular inserts and a lot of diners, the spectators get an insight into the tradition of the Perchten races, which took place "innergebirg" in the Rauhnächten. The Santa Claus with his angels is not to be missed - they certainly bring sweets for the smallest visitors.
