Afterwork hike with the Mondsee Alpine Club
Up the Schafberg from Winkl
From our meeting point in Winkl (St. Gilgen am Wolfgangsee) we start the weekend with a hike up the Schafberg. The ascent first leads steeply uphill through the forest to the Schafbergalpe, then we reach the Schafberg summit via open terrain. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.
Tour details: approx. 1,200 m
Requirements: AV membership; stamina for approx. 500 m per hour on the ascent; surefootedness
