The Grünstein via ferrata is undoubtedly a really beautiful, sporty via ferrata in the Bavarian Alps. With its crisp rocky passages, airy ridges and a breathtaking view of the Königssee and the imposing Watzmann, this tour offers an unforgettable experience. Once you reach the top, a panoramic view of the majestic peaks of the Bavarian Alps awaits you.

Requirements:
Very good physical condition, via ferrata experience (difficulty D/E) / experience in alpine terrain. Sure-footedness and a head for heights. AV membership.

Requirements for the "Servus Stef" route:
Duration: approx. 5 hours
Difficulty: difficult - very difficult (D/E) | 470 hm climbing length (750 hm total altitude)
Climbing equipment
Via ferrata set, climbing harness, climbing helmet, sturdy shoes with a good profile, gloves, weatherproof clothing, sufficient water and provisions.

Via ferrata equipment can be borrowed from the AV (every Wednesday, 4-7 pm).
