Pile Dwelling Pavilion

Mondsee am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich

The pile dwelling pavilion is freely accessible and, for the first time in a new form, presents the history of the inhabitants of the pile dwelling villages that now lie under water.

Every Saturday at 10:00 a.m., there are guided tours of the pavilion in Mondsee for groups of 4 or more people (registration is required!). The presentation of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is designed to answer the most frequent questions about the up to 6000-year-old sunken villages.
