Every year, a cheerful buzz of voices, contemplative sounds and culinary delights set the mood for Christmas on Mondsee's market square.

• 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Christmas program by the Mondsee State Music School in the Betchor—zither class (and diatonic harmonica) led by Fabian Steindl, MA
• 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Grand opening of the Advent market with the Lorenzer Weisenbläser
• 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: d’Feierfisch Musi

• Afternoon: Pony rides at the Children’s Advent event (weather permitting)
• 3:00 p.m.: Town and church tour with Austria Guide Georg Obermeier; meet at the Christmas tree
• 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Hochkreuz Musi
• 4:30–5:30 p.m.: Jugendklang from Oberwang
• 6:00–7:00 p.m.: Saxbladl
• 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Saxbladl

• 4:30 to 4:45 p.m.: “Dance of the Lights” by the Mondsee Franciscan Sisters’ Kindergarten as part of the Children’s Advent
• 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Children’s lantern walk; meet at 4:45 p.m. at the Children’s Advent
• 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Oberhofen hunting horn players
